We are actually a wig makers by trade we are not just another wig boutique. Our founder Barbara Wells completed her wig making apprenticeship in 1950s London when wearing wigs was all the rage. Barbara and her niece Claire are able to advise you on all of the different types of wigs, hairpieces and toupees available, whether it be acrylic, human hair, monofilament, hand tied or machine wefted. We appreciate what a traumatic experience it is to lose some or all of your hair either long or short term through alopecia or chemotherapy and using our extensive experience we will advise you of all of your options. You can then make the right choice for you.
The Personal Touch
Not only can you buy in our online store but you can also make an appointment to come and visit our shop just outside of Sutton in Surrey or our new subsidiary in Swansea, Wales. There is no sitting fee or obligation for our one-to-one consultation, where you can try on different styles and colours to see what suits you. Don’t worry if your head is slightly smaller than most people’s; our petite cap wigs should be a good fit for you. And because we work with a variety of materials, from monofilament acrylic to human hair, your wig will look and feel exactly the way you want it to.
