Can I contact you by phone?
Yes, that’s no problem. You can contact us on 020 8648 5541 during opening hours or email 24 hours a day. To save time and ensure you receive fast service please include your order number with all enquires.
What is monofilament?
Monofilament is a skin-like construction which allows the scalp to breath and prevents heat and moisture build up, wigs with a monofilament parting or top are more comfortable to wear also allows the hair to be parted easily revealing natural looking scalp.
Do Josephswigs.com have a catalogue?
Unfortunately not at the moment but new products are always being added to the site on a regular basis. We suggest you save us as favourite and visit us regularly to keep up to date with all of our the latest wigs, hairpieces & accessories.
Do you have a shop?
Yes, we have a shop called Josephs and we are based just outside of Sutton in Surrey. This is operated on an appointment only basis. We are open Monday to Friday from 10.00am until 4pm (Saturday appointments on request).
Will my wig come ready styled?
Yes, with all of our synthetic wigs just shake n'go! They can be trimmed and re-styled to suit.
Can I get my wig cut to a different style by a local hairdresser?
Yes we can offer a couple of salons locally who are experienced in wig cutting.
What happens if my wig gets wet in the rain?
Nothing at all simply hang it on a wig tree to dry when you get home.
Do you buy human hair?
No, we do not buy human hair. We can however you contact our nearest hair merchant on 020 8857 2546 who can advise you further.
Can I collect from your shop?
Yes that’s no problem. Our opening times are Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm. Please call or contact us for an appointment.
Can I send in a hair sample for you to match my colour?
Yes, JosephsWigs.com would be happy to match your hair sample to the closest available wig/hairpiece colour. For complete instructions, please contact us.
Can I visit your shop to have my wig fitted?
Yes you are more than welcome to visit us in store for your wig or hairpiece to be fitted if required. Please telephone us on 020 8648 5541 anytime or fill out our contact us form and we will call you back at our earliest convenience. We operate on an appointment only basis and we cannot accept visits without an appointment. There is no sitting fee to fit wigs/hairpieces but please note any wig that is worn as fitted when leaving the premises cannot be exchanged or refunded.
What accessories do you sell?
We sell shampoo, hairspray, fibre oil conditioner, wig tape, bandana’s, turban’s, scarves and poly heads which should be used at night to help keep the shape of your wig. To see the full range please visit our shop page.
Is my wig discreetly packaged?
Yes all of our wigs/hairpieces are well packaged and very discreet.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes we ship to all countries. Please contact us to confirm shipping if outside the UK.
How do I know which style of wig will suit me?
Different wig styles suit different people based on the shape of your face. We have more information on this on our page Choosing The Right Wig For You.
Is wearing wigs uncomfortable?
Wearing a new wig is like wearing a new pair of shoes, once you’ve worn it a few times in and around the house, it'll become much more comfortable as you get used to wearing it.
If I am a regular wig wearer can I manage with just one wig, or is better to have a second one?
We would advise to have 2 wigs so that you can rotate them, wearing one whilst the other is being washed.
Can I wear my wig in bed?
We don't recommend you wear it in bed.
Does wearing a wig all the time effect my real hair if it’s growing back?
Not at all your scalp can still breathe and wearing a wig will make no difference to any hair growing back.
